We can put a halt to illegal immigration

Ever wonder why Americans get bent out of shape when the issue of immigration is mentioned.

I do.

Maybe we’re just fed up with foreigners invading our country without an invitation. Add to that they are taking our good paying jobs and sending money back to whence they came. Mostly Central America, with Mexico at the forefront since the latest onslaught about four decades ago.

POTUS said in addition to stealing jobs, they are bringing drugs and crime, as MS-13 Gangs members are all over the place committing despicable crimes like chopping people up. So we have to catch them at the border and separate parent from child.

And if we can’t reunite parent with child push them back across the border and forget about them.

We’re building a wall and all our problems are solved. Every country should be able to control its border. Like Mr Trump says if you can’t control your borders you don’t have a country.

Not so fast POTUS. Employers that are luring immigrants are offering low pay and backbreaking work because Americans would rather stay unemployed and live with mom and dad than accept near slave wage contracts. That’s almost like working for nothing.

But if POTUS really wanted to stop illegal immigration he would simply arrest the business owners who are sending a stamp of approval to the lawbreakers, If you can get here we will hire you.

Not just a threat of arrest, Mr Trump should apply hefty fines on employers who are guilty of hiring illegals.

A final solution to stopping a wave of migrants from capturing low skill jobs would be for the US government to confiscate these corporations earnings or better yet close em down.

We can put a halt to illegal immigration by providing better pay and benefits to American workers.
