Mental illness and White Supremacy are the main reasons young men are using assaults weapons to gun down school children and People of Color without remorse in America.
The Sandy Hook shooter, 20-year-old Adam Lanza mowed down 20 children, the youngest age six along with six adults using an AR-15 style rifle. From-Uvalde-to Santa Fe, and Parkland, that certainly is the case, how else can you explain it when you have 17-year-old Salvador Ramos, gunning down nine-and-ten-year-olds at Robb Elementary, this is similar to children shooting children. The victims were more matured “than the shooters.” They had to be mentally sick to commit these horrific crimes.

Racial hatred is alive and well in America, as evident in Buffalo, El Paso and Charleston, S.C., when 21-year-old White Supremacist Dylann Roof walked into one of the oldest African American Churches in the country, Emanuel A.M.E. in pretense of participating in Bible Study and calmly shot and killed 9 worshipers and injuring one other.
Upon Dylann Roof’s arrest 250 miles from Charleston, it is reported the arresting officers bought him food at Burger King because he was hungry. Can you believe that? You better believe! Just imagine if it were a 21-year-old Black man Cops were chasing on charges of murdering 9 White Bible study worshippers, he would have been killed on the spot or beaten so badly he wished he were dead.
Patrick Crusius, 21, a White racist is accused in the 2019 mass murder of 22 and injuring 25 Hispanics or Latinos at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas. The accused shooter is from the Dallas area, who traveled to El Paso because more Hispanics were readily available. WoW!
The George Floyd public assassination by Officer Derek Chavin sent shockwaves around the world, exposing the extent of police brutality in America. White Americans are angry and tired of hearing about immigrant rights, urban crime, inequality, racism, anti-abortion, LGBT rights and poor folks complaining about a living wage.
They should be tired because the underclass is speaking up for their rights and willing to get in harm’s way in order to bring about economic, social and political justice. The high cost of living brought on by inflation has downsized the middle class while increasing the number of Billionaires, which shows trickle-down economics isn’t working, and families are becoming unglued as paychecks are not keeping up with inflation. In many cases this leads to violence and more crime.
White People in charge of America are not willing to share power with any group, no matter how long we protest on the streets about racism, economic inequality, immigration or abortion, they make the laws and have the police state and the courts behind them. Enacting tuff gun laws is wishful thinking and not likely to happen soon because the National Rifle Association (NRA) carry politicians in their back pockets.
Congress and the President pass laws favorable for the rich and send money and war machines to fight wars we have no interest in. We’re talking hundreds of billions of dollars in Ukraine alone but passing laws that give its citizens a living wage is out of the question.
Wake up America, there are too many guns in the streets and in the homes.
