Right wing Elitists are in charge of our Government and all types of criminal activities are being committed in order to keep them in power. And it goes beyond POTUS and his Administration.
We have a government in place that is wholly inefficient and many within are skimming off the top.
Actor Michael Douglas once said in a movie “Greed is good,” and to a certain he is right. But when it comes to greedy government officials with their hands stuck in the financial pipeline, the average John Q Citizen suffers while Congress and Wall Street Bankers avoid huge losses by dumping stocks, by way of inside information. They know when to sell and when to buy.
Republican Senator Richard Burr Chaired the Senate Intelligence Committee until recently but agreed to step down after FBI seized his cellphone, instituting a probe concerning Insider Trading Investigation. His democratic counterpart Senator Dianne Feinstein, who served Congress for nearly 30 years, and is a ranking member of the Powerful Senate Intelligence Committee, was questioned also by the FBI involving Inside Trading.
Not saying these senators are guilty of Inside Trading; not saying they are innocent either.
What I am saying is ‘for too long the people who make the law have been able get away with breaking the law.’ And if Burr and Feinstein are guilty nothing serious is going to happen, Congress will circle around and give them a slap on the wrist, because many members of both political parties are guilty of the same crime, or something worse.
This is going on in all levels of Government. But The Trump Administration is a Hornet’s Nest of criminal activity. Names like, Duncan Hunter sentenced to 11 months in Prison for stealing Campaign funds, Flynn, Manafort, Nader and countless others in government feel they can break the law, simply because they can get away with it. And if they have to serve a little time in the slammer it’s okay because POTUS will soon issue a PARDON.
The System is the problem
Government officials who break the law serve very little time for stealing huge amounts of money and poor John Q Citizen gets unjustified sentences for stealing much less money. or getting caught attempting to steal money.
Poor and middle income people in America are getting the short end of the stick, simply because those who make the law in many cases can break the law and walk. With leaders like Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham, Ted Cruz and other powerful republicans supporting Trump and his associates regardless of the crime, change is not fortcoming
We need to reform Capitalism now.
