Nubian Language Should Rise From the Ashes In Sudan and Egypt

Omar El-Bashir contributed more to the Arabization of Sudan than any other leader.

Since his departure Sudan must reverse course and release itself from the grips of Gulf Arab States and turn towards Sub Saharan Africa.
Arabic reigns supreme in Sudan and Egypt, but Nubia and its Nilo-Saharan languages contributed immensely to the history of both countries.

El Bashir was president for more than two decades and installed a Pro-Arab agenda that coincided with his Gulf and Egyptian neighbors, to the detriment of Cushitic and Nilo-Saharan people in the region.

Bashir was not interested in advancing education or economic opportunities for Black Sudanese. He was more concerned with Arabic and instituting political Islam (extremism) while marginalizing African Tribes, Nuba, Beja, Darfur and Nubians in the process.

The Transitional Military Council (TMC) in Sudan under the leadership of Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Inspector of the Armed Forces should make it a priority to revive the Nubian Language, due to Nubian influence during early civilization of Sudan and Egypt.

At its height Nubian Region consisted of the modern day area from Khartoum (Sudan) to Aswan (Egypt) from 2000 BCE, to 1500 AD when Nubia became Arabized. During that period both cultures interacted and were very similar in the Arts.

During the 25th Dynasty (Nubian Dynasty) ancient Nubia conquered Egypt and many of their Kings and Pyramids were Black People, when the region was known as the Kingdom of Kush. They reigned in all of Egypt from 744-656 B.C. They were referred to in History as the Black Pharoahs (Nubian Pharoahs) or Rulers of Egypt.

The first Nubian Pharoah or King to rule Egypt was King Kashta in the 8th century, who ruled mostly from Napata, located in modern day Karima, Sudan. He was succeeded by PIYE who conquered Egypt an established the 25th Dynasty, which encompassed a long line of Nubian Kings. Some of the earliest Pyramids in either countries are known as the Meriotic Pyramids located in Meroe, Sudan. Meroe was the capital of The Kingdom of Kush for several centuries after the Egyptians defeated Nubia and regained control Egypt.
Sudan, now is the time to depend more on Africa and less on the Arab World.
