Donald Trump was a disgrace as so perfectly summed up by Sen John Mcain of Arizona, in reference to his face to face meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, recently in Helsinki.
Simply put he was out of his league. Putin, a former head of the KGB, a secretive and brutal Spy network is where he earned his medals. In comparison to making money by any means necessary, as championed by POTUS.
Not saying one is less honorable than the other
Much of Trimp’s support come from White racists and he may feel Putin and much of Russia have similar views when it comes to race. Not necessarily the case.
Putin is a very smart leader in tune to global issues like trade, security and industrialization, and what works for Russia, whereas Trump is barely feeling his way and is keen on what is profitable for himself and family. Or as they say, he is the new kid on the block, and he showed his true color by stating point blank he doesn’t care about African shithole countries. They are not on his agenda when it comes to trade and development.
Putin is seeking global recognition as a leader who will standup to America and her allied member states of the European Union. He is driving a wedge between these important allies while he quickly gooble up real estate in neighboring Ukraine. Eagerly, he uses the world stage to sell weapons, wheat, build nuclear power plants to any African country with dollars.
Just like there is an upside to his leadership, a darkside exist also. He has no patience when it comes to the opposition demanding free and fair elections. Russia is simply not a democracy under Putin. It fact it could be called a dictatorship. Many journalist and regular citizens have lost their lives when challenging corruption and graft in Russia. If you think you are safe from Putin’s reach by moving to the United Kingdom or USA, you better think again. The KGB will kill you anywhere in the world.
Donald Trump seems to be in awe of Putin, by telling the world, the Russian strongman did not meddle in the US elections in 2016. He believes him because he was so strong and forceful in his denial.
Trump says Putin is not America’s enemy, but merely a competitor. The antagonist would be his predecessor the honorable Barack Obama.
Whereas, Putin is a strong leader whether you agree with his positions on global issues, in comparison, Trump is weak and republicans like Flake, Corker and Corbyn expressed extreme disappointment with his performance at the news conference.
The republicans should join hands with the democrats and begin impeachment proceedings immediately.
On what basis you say: let’s start with treason and go from there.
