Time is tight President Trump. So make Mexico pay for the wall upfront or forget about it. That’s the message Congress is sending after refusing to include his request for $1.5 bln for a wall along our southern borders.
Lawmakers are moving quickly to reach a government funding agreement to avoid a shutdown on Friday at the 100 day mark of his presidency. It all seem like empty promises as both democrats and republicans are trying to reach an agreement without funding a wall.
Trump wants the money to come from taxpayers, by way of government budget and make Mexico pay for the wall later. Sounds good but the working class will get stuck with the bill, and when its not approve he may try to cut funding for the Affordable Care Act passed under Obama.
He may have a harder time replacing or repealing Obamacare because Americans don’t want to lose pre-existing coverage that comes along with the plan. Nor will they settle for eliminating subsidies that make premiums affordable. The best thing Trump can do with this important legislation is to find money that will lower deductibles or make it free for all.
As a candidate for president, Donald Trump said he would make Mexico pay for a wall to keep illegals out, and he would move the capitol of Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Don’t expect a wall to be built anytime soon, unless Mexico pays for it. Simply put that government has been defiant since the word go.
Billionaire Sheldon Adelson is losing patience with Trump because he hasn’t fulfilled his campaign promise of moving the capitol to Jerusalem. The Jewish American donated heavily to his campaign and is losing faith in the President. It sounds like another promise that may not come true.
In summary Mexico will not pay for your wall, and a government shutdown is near because Congress won’t fund a wall. Maybe your record will improve during the next 100 days President Trump.
