Whether its drugging women unknowingly in order to have sex and then paying off his victims by settling out of court, comedian Bill Cosby will have to answer to the long arm of the law sooner or later.
It looks like it will be sooner as a Pennsylvania judge decided enough evidence is available during a hearing Tuesday to proceed with a criminal trial.
He faces felony indecent assault charges from a 2004 case involving Andrea Constand.
Facing the judge and jury is bad enough. But working for the defense is famed women’s rights attorney Gloria Allred, who interrogated Cosby last year about groping young women. After that he can go home and and face his wife Camille. I wouldn’t want to be in his shoes.
The odds are against him as too many women have accused the Fat Albert creator of improper sexual relations. It all started in 2005 when accuser Andrea Constand said he drugged an assaulted her. According to a report in Vanity Fair, Cosby admitted to drugging women he wanted to have sex with . In excerpts from a deposition, he admitted that a model agency supplied him with 5 or 6 models a week for a period of time. He was supplied with models 5 or 6 times a week–is something of a misnomer. I don’t believe it’s teenage runway models showing off the newest clothing line. We’re talking prostitutes here–let’s not mix apple with oranges. In this case models and escorts means prostitutes. Seems to me he was paying for sex.
The worst thing that could happen to “The Cos” is being placed on the sexual predator list and several years in prison for indecent assault.
