Iran nuclear deal Big win for Obama

Senate democrats voted down republican ambitions to derail Barack Obama’s Iran Nuclear Deal marking a signature foreign policy win for the president. The republicans needed 60 votes to approve a resolution denying passage of the bill; although the President would have vetoed the measure.

Now with two votes shy, the republicans are caught between a rock and a hard place as Obama prepares implementation of the deal that would prohibit Iran from possessing nuclear weapons for possibly 15 years. In return Iran would have access to several hundred billion dollars that was frozen due to sanctions.

According to the White House, inspectors from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) would have access to nuclear generating sites, in order to inspect uranium levels, but John Boehner Speaker of the House disputes those claims saying this is a bad deal for America and it’s Mideast allies including Israel, because the Iranians can’t be trusted. They will cheat.

Earlier this year, Boehner invited Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu to address Congress and advocate along with allied groups, rejection of the  Nuclear Deal because Iran hands are bloody from supporting terrorism across the globe. His main argument was that if sanctions were removed, Iran would no longer be cash strapped and would use billions of dollars to support Hamas, Hezbollah and the Houthis in its fight against Israel and the Sunni governments led by Saudi Arabia.

With the senate support Obama is now attempting to mend fences with Netanyahu and King Salman by increasing military armament to Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are trying to curb Iran’s regional hegemony.

Iran is a modern and civil society. One that is no more involved in terrorism than it’s arch enemy Saudi Arabia. But the U.S. has long been aligned with the royal Saudi family and their oil money, so it was human nature to assume the sanctions would stand for a long time; thus, pressuring Iran Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei to cease generating uranium for nuclear purpose. Well Iran convinced the p5+1 members that it’s nuclear program was purely peaceful and only for generating energy in exchange for removing the sanctions.

Not only does Obama comes out a winner, so will Khamenei once the money belts are loosened and Iran is able to rebuild it’s struggling economy and military hardware.

The losers are Netanyahu and King Salman who are tied together at the waist because they have the same enemy. Yes, Sunni Arabs are in bed with Israel when it comes to confronting shite power, Iran.

President Obama is changing the way we do business in the Mideast with the nuclear deal. He is moving America and the west away from the Royal Saudi family and it’s conservative brand of Islam called Wahhabism, and maybe towards moderate Shia Islam practiced by regional superpower Iran.
